Oregano, part of the Lamiaceae family, is a culinary and medicinal herb that grows wild throughout Greece. As for thyme, it will enhance the taste of your meat or fish and can accompany your tomatoes sauces, vegetables or potatoes. Each herb is picked between May and June on the Mount Othrys in Central Greece, in the traditional way. They are then carefully cleaned and dried in the shade at ambient temperature to preserve all their aromas.
